Neapolitano Slatana (1991–2008)
Neapolitano Karla x Slatana Napoleon was my first Lipizzan. I purchased him in 1995 from Jordi Lipizzans in northern Minnesota. He was a very talented, very alpha, high-strung horse and we didn't click. In 1998 he moved on to be happy being a dressage horse with a lady in West Palm Beach, Florida (I think he just wanted to live somewhere with palm trees!). Sadly, he had to be euthanized in November 2008 after a long battle with laminitis and white line disease.
