What is Kickstart the Knight?

Kickstart the Knight is a fan-run project founded to promote the television show “Forever Knight” and petition The Powers That Be (TPTB) for more FK—officially licensed merchandise, a continuation of the paperback book series, and showing the series on cable.

We focus mainly on letter-writing campaigns that let TPTB know that there are FK fans out here who remain interested in this classic cult series, and who want more of it in any form we can get it! While KtK is run by a small group of individuals, our continuing campaign is for all FK fans. It’s only through our group efforts that our voices can be heard by the folks in the big glass office buildings who own FK.

What Else Does KtK Do?

Besides writing letters, KtK holds periodic online auctions. These auctions help fund ads placed in publications like Hollywood Reporter, Weekly Variety, Sci Fi Entertainment, Sci Fi Universe, and TV Guide that remind TPTB of our desire for more FK. There are also special projects, like thank-you letters and gifts to TPTB when they do put FK on the air, and getting our message out to the fans through flyers at science fiction and fan conventions.

How is KtK Financed?

KtK finances the publication ads through our online auctions. Everything else is funded out of our own pockets. We cannot accept monetary donations, but help in the form of volunteering on a project or donating FK items to be auctioned are always welcome.
